Anderson & Rahman Dermatology, one of the leading dermatology practices in Knoxville, Tennessee, has recently completed a total renovation of a prominent building in Knoxville. The Well By Nature building previously served the wellness needs of Knoxville patients. Although the building occupied a prominent position in the Knoxville landscape atop Bearden Hill, it had unfortunately fallen into disrepair sitting empty for a number of years.
Despite the poor condition of the building, we felt that the structure had great potential as a medical facility. We worked with Justin Cazana and John Adams at Alison Young to purchase the facility. We then engaged Brewer Ingram Fuller Architects, Design Innovation, and Jenkins and Stiles construction to completely gut the interior and exterior of the building and renovate it as a state-of-the-art clinical and surgical facility. In addition to creating space for our clinical and cosmetic services, we also built a dedicated Mohs (specialized skin cancer surgery) surgery center and Mohs pathology laboratory lab on the second floor. Our new associate, Dr. Adam Wright, joined us from the Mayo Clinic this summer and is the only fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon in Knoxville.
We hope that this new, larger facility will allow us to better serve our dermatology patients in Knoxville. We have dedicated space for medical dermatology, surgical dermatology, Mohs surgery, as well as cosmetic procedures such as Fraxel laser, Botox Cosmetic, Restylane, Juvederm, chemical peels, and spider-vein treatments. We believe that our new facility is one of the most advanced dermatology centers in Knoxville.
