Nathan Bowers began his training by earning a PhD in Immunology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Driven by a lifelong desire to care for patients in a clinical setting, he then attended East Tennessee State University’s Quillen College of Medicine. During his tenure he served on multiple medical education and community service committees and was selected to be a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honors society. Dr. Bowers completed his dermatology residency at Wake Forest and was named chief resident. He remained at Wake Forest to complete a dermatopathology fellowship. During his residency and fellowship, he also served on the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education dermatology program review committee where he was actively involved in ensuring the highest level of training for future dermatologists. He holds a dual board certification in dermatology and dermatopathology. Throughout his training, he has received multiple awards and accolades, testifying to his medical knowledge, strong work ethic, and skill in his field.
He enjoys seeing patients of all ages and backgrounds. With his dual board certification, he is skilled at providing comprehensive care for his patients. His extensive training and experience has allowed him exposure and knowledge regarding a broad range of medical conditions. He is committed to offering the highest level of care for his patients. His primary interest is medical dermatology. In addition to providing outstanding medical care, Dr. Bowers is also highly relational with his patients.
In his free time Dr. Bowers enjoys being outdoors and spending time with his wife and children.
